Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:

- Authentication credentials (managed by our authentication provider)
Property and Home Data
To provide the Service, you may enter:
- Property details (name, address, type, purchase date, purchase price, estimated value, square footage)
- Item inventory (names, descriptions, categories, purchase information, warranty details, condition, location, images)
- Parts and supplies (names, categories, quantities, prices, suppliers, reorder levels)
- Maintenance tasks (titles, descriptions, schedules, recurrence rules, completion history)
- Utility accounts (provider names, account numbers, bill amounts, due dates, usage metrics)
Uploaded Documents
You may upload documents including receipts, manuals, warranties, invoices, and photos. These files are stored securely and are only accessible to you and associated property members.
Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or bank account details. We receive your subscription status, plan tier, and Stripe customer identifier.
Usage and Analytics Data
We automatically collect:
- Pages visited and features used within the Service
- Session duration and interaction patterns
- Device type, browser type, and operating system
- IP address and approximate geographic location
Activity Logs
We log actions you take within the Service (such as creating items, completing tasks, or updating properties) to provide you with an activity history and to improve the Service.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process your transactions and manage your subscription

- Use your property or item data to target you with ads
- Allow third parties to access your uploaded documents, photos, or financial records

Your home data exists in Haven for one purpose: to help you manage your home. It is never monetized, never shared for marketing, and never used for anything other than providing and improving the Service for you.
Google User Data
If you choose to sign in with Google, we access the following data from your Google account:

- Your email address
- Your profile picture
How We Use Google Data
We use your Google account information solely to create and maintain your Haven account, display your name and profile picture within the application, and communicate with you about the Service. We do not use your Google data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service.
Sharing of Google Data
We do not share your Google user data with any third parties. Your Google account information is only used within Haven for authentication and account display purposes.
Storage and Protection of Google Data
Your Google account information is stored securely in our database with the same protections described in the Data Storage and Security section below, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, and row-level security policies.
Retention and Deletion of Google Data
Your Google user data is retained only while your account is active. If you delete yourHaven account, all associated Google user data is deleted within 30 days. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Haven:
- Clerk — Authentication and user management. Processes your email, user ID, and session tokens. Clerk Privacy Policy

- Supabase — Database and file storage. Stores all user content including uploaded documents. Supabase Privacy Policy

- Google Gemini — AI features (invoice scanning). When you use AI-powered features, uploaded document images may be processed by Google's AI services. Google Privacy Policy
- Vercel — Hosting and deployment. Processes request logs and IP addresses. Vercel Privacy Policy
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase and protected by row-level security policies, ensuring that your data is only accessible to you and authorized property members. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Update or correct inaccurate personal data
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export — Export your data in a portable format
- Opt-out — Disable analytics tracking and optional notifications
